Biografia:

Se encontraron por primera vez en febrero de 1983 en Hamburgo, y sólo tardaron un par de minutos en sellar su pacto. Dieter Bohlen cumplía las labores de productor en una compañía editora, Thomas Anders estaba interesado en conseguir buenas canciones para darle un mayor impulso a su carrera en solitario, y tras una corta conversación Thomas se decidió a cantar un tema que le entregó Dieter, `You’re my Herat, you’re my soul´, y terminó su búsqueda musical. Había nacido Modern Talking.
Con la unión de estos dos talentos musicales Modern Talking se convirtió en el mejor grupo alemán y uno de los mejores del mundo. Su discografía comienza con el LP `The First´ en 1985, cuyo single `You’re my heart, you’re my soul´ los lanzó a la fama. Muy pronto llegó el segundo álbum que titularon `Let’s talk about love´ cuyo principal hit fue `Chery Chery Lady´.
Ampliamente reconocidos por toda Europa, editan en el año 1986 otros dos trabajos entre los que se encuentran algunos de los grandes temas que les consagrarán en el escenario internacional, como `Brother Louie´ o `Geronimo’s Cadillac´.
Tras los primeros momentos de éxito, el productor y compositor Dieter Bohlen se separa del grupo. Sin embargo, Dieter y Thomas debían reunirse de nuevo para grabar un disco porque tenían que cumplir su contrato con el sello Hansa International. Cuando se editó el LP, Dieter ya estaba trabajando en su proyecto musical `Blue Sistem´ y Thomas terminaba de cumplir con los conciertos. Con la promesa de volver desaparecen del ambiente del espectáculo.
En el año 1998 se empezó a escuchar una nueva versión tecno-dance del hit `You’re my heart, you’re my soul´, los integrantes del grupo habían vuelto a unirse lanzaban el disco ` Back for good, the 7th album´, con un nuevo estilo, más duro. En febrero de 1999 nos sorprenden con un nuevo trabajo titulado `Alone, the 8th album´, en el año 2000 se edita `Year of the dragon´ y a mediados de 2001 llega `America-The 10h album´. Con `Victory´ y `Universe´ se acaba la vida del grupo alemán más reconocido de todos los tiempos que nos deja un `Final Album´ para el recuerdo de sus mejores canciones y
sus temas más conocidos y galardonados.
